Senior Equipment Engineer / Form Factory 1, LLC

Role Description

As a member of our manufacturing equipment team, develop cutting-edge equipment for the

production of electrodes. Develop sustaining strategies for rst-of-its-kind equipment. Work on both manual and automated equipment substation prototypes to dene architecture and processes. Duties include:

  1. Dene preventive maintenance activities on automated equipment;

  2. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly;

  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives;

  4. Maintain pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise;

  5. Provide hands-on support for high-volume manufacturing operations;

  6. Optimize equipment settings for quality and throughput in collaboration with production teams; and

  7. Implement upgrades and modications to enhance station performance.

Position Requirements:

A Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering,

Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field followed by 3 years of post-baccalaureate

experience in an industrial engineering-related occupation.

In the alternative, the employer would accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in

Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related

field followed by 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience in an industrial engineering-related

occupation.

Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently:

1) 3 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and sustaining manufacturing equipment

and robotic systems;

2) 3 years of experience with manufacturing equipment design, build, commissioning, and

validation;

3) 3 years of experience using SolidWorks or other CAD software for 3D modeling and

simulations;

4) 3 years of experience designing bulk materials dispensing equipment and high-speed

motion systems;

5) 2 years of experience programming and troubleshooting PLC hardware, automation

systems, and FANUC robots;

6) 2 years of experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and 5S methodologies;

7) 1 year of project management experience, including in cross-functional team settings;

8) 1 year of technical writing experience to document processes and training materials.

Job site: 1725 Main St., Weirton, WV 26062. Full-time. Salary: $111,890 - $138,840.
