As our Warehouse Manager, you'll be the boots-on-the-ground leader at our King's Mountain, NC facility, acting as the key liaison with our third-party logistics (3PL) partner. In this key leadership role, you'll oversee core operational metrics including inventory accuracy, fill rates, and on-time delivery. You will also provide critical support to other Utz locations as needed, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain network.

What You'll Be Doing



  • Act as the primary point of contact with 3PL operations at the King's Mountain site.
  • Drive inventory control, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely product rotation.
  • Monitor and improve performance KPIs (P&L, fill rate, on-time delivery, etc.).
  • Lead root cause analysis for operational challenges and implement corrective actions.
  • Proactively identify and execute process improvement opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and training to warehouse staff to meet performance expectations.
  • Manage warehouse space utilization and ensure safety and security protocols are followed.
  • Address day-to-day procedural and personnel issues as needed.
  • Maintain standards for product quality and food safety.
  • Provide cross-shift supervisory support, including coverage for managers and supervisors when required.
  • Travel up to 50% to support other Utz locations as business needs arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Sr Regional Logistics Manager.


What You Bring to the Table



  • Solid understanding of warehouse management systems and distribution principles.
  • Strong knowledge of P&L and KPI-driven performance management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear, effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work across all shifts and lead diverse teams.

  • Minimum high school graduate with extensive experience in house laboratory testing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as a practitioner highly preferred; PCQI certification and experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Suite, and proficiency with an iPad.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and desire and ability to interact with all levels of the enterprise.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Fundamental math skills.
  • Knowledge of snack food operations.
