We are looking to add a team member with a keen eye for detail and personality that likes to have some fun. Must enjoy talking to people, using the phone, and attending community events!

This position will assist the Human Resources department with recruiting and general HR duties at the direction of the Human Resources management team. Maintain positive communications with internal staff with knowledge of CBE benefits and other areas the Human Resources department supports. Develop and market CBE's employer brand and recruitment marketing methods to attract top talent. Market CBE via modern and innovative recruitment marketing strategies. Play a vital role as a member of CBE's Human Resources team. Constantly project a positive image of CBE Companies through a professional approach and appearance.

Job Details:

  • Create and maintain the personnel, confidentiality, and payroll files on all newly hired and terminated employees.

  • Scan all documents per the Human Resource Filing-Scanning System SOP.

  • Assist with prescreening applicants after reviewing application to evaluate if the candidate meets the minimum qualifications listed in the job description.

  • Schedule interview with the appropriate hiring manager.

  • Conduct reference checks and employment verifications for prospective employees that conform to our background check procedures.

  • Assist with, conduct, and interpret criminal checks for prospective employees that conform to our background check procedures.

  • Submit I-9 Form verification through the E-Verify system and document confirmation.

  • Support entire HR team with tasks or projects including anniversary awards, attendance awards, orientation and benefits packets, semi-annual shredding of I-9s of terminated employees.

  • Assist in recruitment marketing strategy to attract high-quality applicants.

  • Strategize and manage recruitment media campaigns.

  • Design, plan, and market recruitment events.

  • Serve as a brand ambassador at recruitment events.

  • Keep abreast of new trends in social media channels.

  • Help with client audits, including pulling or making copies of necessary documents.

  • Ensure that new employee paperwork is accurate & up to date.

  • Knowledgeable about the benefits that CBE offers to our employees and assisting employees with related questions.

  • Gain a clear understanding of all CBE corporate policies and procedures. Review and understand all HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's.)

  • Have a basic understanding of HR laws and regulations to ensure CBE is adhering to appropriate policies and procedures.

  • Assist in planning and preparing for employee related events, such as company picnics, employee benefit trainings, annual trainings, etc.

  • Maintain confidentiality as appropriate in working with employees on personnel-related matters. Adhere to all HIPAA, GLBA and privacy regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in recruiting, marketing, sales, or HR

  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Outstanding time-management skills

  • In-depth knowledge of social media and marketing trends

  • Excellent understanding of recruitment processes and candidate selection methods

  • Detail-oriented, highly motivated and a strong work ethic

  • Possess a passion for HR and working with a diverse group of people

  • Excellent proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point

  • Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is preferred

The starting hourly rate for this position is $19/hour.
