At New Honor Society an ACD is a complete creative, responsible for leading work and driving overall creative excellence. The ACD collaborates with the CD in directing the team in accordance with the agency's standards of quality and profitability, while exceeding client's expectations. This specific role is for a design lead generalist with a focus on UI / digital design. The Work:
- Provide overall design expertise with the ability to tackle a wide range of channels and formats including website, email, online video, social, event, direct mail, and digital media.
- Lead creative team in digital design / UI design with hands-on skills and mentorship to create hi-fidelity UI designs with detailed specifications.
- Manage projects from creative brief to execution - leading the team in conceptual development and shepherding the work to completion with constructive feedback.
- Contribute to production strategy to execute work with an eye towards budget and timeline.
- Keep abreast of evolving trends in digital design and culture at large;actively aware of emerging technology and ever-changing relevance of the online experience.
- Partner with account team and project management to better understand client's business, outline process and determine the best resourcing to get the job done.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers and engineers to ensure seamless, iterative design processes
The Team/Agency:
- Partner with Creative Directors to produce conceptual, high-quality digital design solutions for our clients on time and on budget
- Mentor and supervise team while challenging them with new, innovative methods of execution
- Ensure healthy, positive creative team environment that contributes to overall agency culture
- Perform as player-coach, applying hands-on digital design as well as overall guidance for team
- Curate, develop, and organize brand assets and contribute to optimizing workflow
- Thrive in a fast-moving, agile work environment
Experience/Credentials:
- Passionate, inspirational, organized and highly collaborative leader
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally as well as an aptitude for teaching others on team
- Technical proficiency in general design tools including the Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven experience with industry-standard UI design tools (Figma, XD) and basic UX understanding of wireframing, user-centered design methodologies, and accessibility
- Experience in supervising other creative professionals in an administrative capacity
- Real world experience creating a wide range of work for medium to large brands
- 8+ years of team experience in the design or agency world, with 3-5 years of UI Design
NHS has adopted a hybrid working environment. It is required for employees to be in office Tuesday-Thursday and can work from home Monday and Friday.
