Responsibilities

Job Description:

The digital photography/videography contractor position willprovide support to the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) Public Affairs Office (PAO) onthe planning and designing of concepts to represent internal and external communications initiatives. This includes but is not limited to: Multimedia Production (animations), Physical Media Production (compact discs (CDs)/digital video discs (DVDs)), DC3 logos, artwork, flyers, brochures, templates and layout for websites, email marketing blasts, newsletters, white papers, brochures,articles, and other written documents. The contractor will specialize incapturing and creating high-quality images and videos for various mission-related activitiesusing digital cameras and editing software to produce visually appealing and engaging content. Thismay include studio (portrait), lifestyle, technical, editorial, and off-site promotional styles of photography.Overall, the digital photography/videography contractor will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing content that helpsthe Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3)showcase their mission, products and servicesin a compelling way.

Key Responsibilities:

    Review and respond promptly to service desk tickets.
  • Plan and execute photo and video shoots, including setting up lighting, backdrops, and props.
  • Capture high-quality images and videos that meet DC3 Leadership requirements and specifications.
  • Edit and retouch photos and videos using editing software to enhance their quality and appeal.
  • Collaborate with DC3 Leadership to ensure their vision corresponds to the mission.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in digital photography and videography.
  • Manage and maintain equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories.
  • Organize and maintain a digital library of photos and videos for easy access and retrieval.
  • Meet project deadlines and deliver final products in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with DC3 Leadership to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Support the development and distribution of news sent to internal recipients.
  • Assists the DC3 PAO in documenting strategic, operational, and tactical engagements and communications in SOPs for operational efficiency and continuity of operations requirements.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in digital photography and videography.
  • Proficiency in using digital cameras, lighting equipment, and editing software.
  • Strong eye for detail and composition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of current trends and techniques in digital photography and videography.
  • Portfolio of previous work demonstrating skills and abilities in digital photography and videography.
  • Active TS/SCI.
  • Associates degree and 7+ years of experience; OR Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience; OR Master's Degree and 3+ years of experience. Or 0 years with PhD. However, four (4) years of additional relevant experience or specialized training will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Previous work experience as a Civilian, Government Contractor or Military preferred.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
