Apply Now > Save Job Job Saved The IT Intern is an entry level position that participates in various digital and IT business related projects while providing excellent customer service through implementation support and help desk inquiries. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Monitor and follow all safety preventative measures and practices, including 5S+ safety guidelines. 2. Develop an understanding of how IT supports our core business. 3. Assist on key IT projects and initiatives. 4. Propose solutions for real-world problems using quantitative data. 5. Assist with implementing information technology that optimizes organizational efficiency. 6. Collaborate with various teams to achieve enterprise goals. 7. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, manage time effectively and actively participate in team projects. DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures, and in a manner that eliminates unreasonable risk to health and the environment. Notify management of unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk. Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to management immediately. 2. Participate in peer-based teams (i.e., Natural High-Performance Teams), and work with groups to initiate and implement programs such as Lean Manufacturing and 5-S. 3. Ability to maintain professionalism and foster rapport with internal and external customers. 4. Additional duties as assigned.
