Job Overview:

This classification has a considerable workload functioning at the highest level of program supervision in a field/regional office. An employee in this class must be able to work independently with minimal supervision on assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct all functions of program area (Child Programs, Child Safety, Juvenile Justice) within the assigned geographical region.
  • Overall supervision of front-line and managerial program staff within the assigned geographical region.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and courts within assigned geographic region.
  • Review complaints and concerns within assigned area and provide feedback, engage staff and clients to resolve barriers or issues.
  • Partner with other leaders to share information, move tasks forward, and improve overall practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a social services related field, master's degree preferred. A minimum of five to seven years experience in social services or child welfare. A minimum of two to three years of supervisory experience.
