TEKsystems is hiring an Instructional Designer/Technical writer to join one of our non-profit insurance clients in NYC.
*Duration: *6 month contract-to-hire *Location: *Hybrid, 3x per week in office in NYC *Description: * * This role focuses in developing and writing training documentation for our clients call center reps. * The majority of the role will focus in enhancing training documentation and implementing new E-Learning initiatives to bring their trainings to the next level. * Work with SMEs to understand training priorities and document processes for training manuals and job guides. *The ideal candidate will have: * * Strong working knowledge of pension and medical benefit plans, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly materials. * Demonstrated expertise in creating technical learning objectives and implementing effective learner engagement strategies. * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences. * Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and sound professional judgment. * Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter, while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. * Strong understanding of project management processes and best practices. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and other relevant tools for documentation and content development. * High level of personal accountability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. * Skilled at building and maintaining effective working relationships across all levels of the organization. * Ability to provide a portfolio showcasing previous instructional design work, including examples of training materials, job aids, and/or eLearning content. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
