Position Summary
Teach introductory sociology courses at the University of St. Francis.
Courses will be taught both face-to-face and online.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Teach introductory sociology courses during Fall semester 2025.
Minimum Requirements
* Master's of Arts degree in Sociology, or related field;
* Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position;
* Willingness to uphold and fulfill the mission, vision, values, and traditions of the University of St. Francis.
Preferred Requirements
* Prior experience teaching Sociology courses;
* A doctoral degree in Sociology.
Hours/Shift/Work Schedule
There is some flexibility based on availability. Face-to-face courses will generally be taught in the mornings or early afternoons.
The semester begins August 18, 2025.
Physical Requirements of Position
Work is performed in classroom settings with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: sitting, walking, bending, stooping, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity.
