About the role We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to support management in effectively understanding and managing the performance of the business. This role will help guide the business and communicate targets as well as develop driver-based models and improve management reporting. Key requirements for the role include communicating clearly and efficiently, producing accurate and timely reporting, and working effectively in a team setting. Knowledge of forecasting models and processes and understanding business drivers are key requirements for this position. Ultimately, you will help stakeholders understand their spend and ensure that expenses align with business objectives. This position is hybrid (3 days per week in office)and is located in Austin, Texas. List Travel Requirements: Up to 10% travel required About the team Auctane's Finance team is responsible for driving key strategic initiatives, generating insights into business performance, and leading financial decisions across the Company. We partner with Senior Management and business unit leaders by providing effective decision-making support to drive long-term business performance. What will you be doing?
- Developing financial forecasts and budgets to revenue for business stakeholders
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives by performing data analysis and modeling
- Coordinating with the rest of the FP&A team to produce monthly forecasts and long-term financial plans
- Interpret data and provide recommendations to business leadership
- Establishing financial policies and maintaining confidentiality of financial information and decisions
What are we looking for?
- Minimum five years of work experience in Finance, Business Operations, Revenue Operations, or similar roles
- Advanced skills with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficient with SQL or exposure (Looker, Redash, etc.) and desire to learn
- Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP) (preferably Netsuite)
- Understanding of Financial Planning systems (preferably Anaplan)
- Excellent analytical skills, a proactive communicator and self-starter
- Ability to present financial data using reports and charts and communicate results clearly
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Strong written and oral interpersonal skills
- Agile, flexible, and responsive approach to work.
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
