The Vice President, Global Syndicated Health role is critical as it operates at a senior leadership level within our team, overseeing the entire research lifecycle with P&L responsibilities for specific studies, driving business growth, and shaping the strategic direction of our syndicated healthcare services. What You Can Expect To Be Doing

Ipsos' Global Syndicated Healthcare Services produces the Global Therapy Monitor, a leading syndicated research study, providing real-world patient data combined with healthcare professional perspectives across over 30 common and rare diseases globally. Our additional syndicated research offerings, many built upon the Therapy Monitor framework, explore pharmaceutical promotional impact, patient experiences within specific disease areas, and key healthcare trends.

Therapy Management and Client Relations



  • Deliver on the financial performance of the team
  • Take full responsibility for all client relationships and lead client discussions, especially for new studies, new business, and new clients
  • Establish visibility with clients and be recognized as a therapy area expert
  • Grow strong relationships beyond main client contacts, engaging others within the client organization


Study Management



  • Mentor Directors and Co-Therapy Leads to ensure the smooth running of studies
  • Support them with any fieldwork or data issues, ensuring solutions are found quickly and efficiently
  • Provide final sign-off on key changes to existing study materials or new studies, ensuring they answer clients' business questions effectively and efficiently


Client Impact



  • Share knowledge to ensure the team is effectively servicing clients
  • Oversee team scheduling of brainstorm sessions for final deliverables, attending and providing mentorship during these sessions
  • Review key client deliverables, providing feedback and requesting necessary amendments to ensure a Client-First approach and effective storytelling
  • Support the Therapy Co-Lead with presenting reports to clients


Business Development



  • Ensure our studies are profitable and run efficiently
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through pipeline analysis, therapy knowledge, and client engagement in coordination with the Senior Vice President
  • Lead in preparing proposals, pitches, and costings
  • Expand the existing suite of offerings
  • Create marketing materials and thought leadership to promote Ipsos solutions internally and externally
  • Work collaboratively across syndicated and custom teams within Ipsos, building knowledge of Ipsos' capabilities


Team Leadership



  • Provide quarterly team updates on revenue progress, priority areas, and business development strategy
  • Support and engage the team; define clear roles and overall team goals
  • Serve as a mentor; inspire excellence and promote strategic and innovative thinking
  • Promote Ipsos values and policies
  • Ensure each team member receives necessary training and support to succeed in their roles, and assist in identifying promotion timelines


This might be the job for you if you have:



  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare market research, with a proven track record in senior leadership roles
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in delivering on team financial performance
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills and the ability to grow business
  • Deep expertise in specific therapy areas and the ability to be recognized as a thought leader
  • Excellent strategic thinking and business development skills
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, data analysis tools, and presentation software
  • Experience in using Generative AI to improve productivity and client impact throughout the research process
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills with well-developed interpersonal and presentation abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Highly motivated, proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead teams
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills


NOTE: This role will require you to work Eastern Time hours.

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000-$180,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
