Field Service Technician/Mechanic

Interstate Power Systems is looking for Field Service Mechanic/Technician(s) for our Gillette, Wyoming location. We are currently seeking Diesel Mechanic/Technician(s) to join our team who specialize in Freightliner, Detroit, Allison, MTU and more! We are offering competitive wages!

Field Service Mechanic/Technician Job Duties:

• Responsible for repairing, maintaining diesel engines and diesel components used in various vehicles and diesel equipment.
• Accurately and efficiently diagnose complex diesel engine conditions and make necessary repairs.
• Communicate effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding those repairs.
• Quality control work performed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion.
• Meet requirements for certifications.

Field Service Mechanic/Technician Requirements:

• Valid Driver's license
• Technical degree or certification a plus.
• Must possess a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and be reliable.
• Experience with diesel engine platforms such as MTU, Detroit Diesel, Perkins and Deutz a plus.
• Other mechanical skills desired but not essential: Hydraulics, Brakes & Suspension, Manual Transmissions, Drive Train and Automatic Transmissions.
