As the Senior MRI Technologist, you will
perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as
post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding
of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and
medical terminology. Advanced imaging skills and techniques would be
demonstrated by competence in 3 or more of the following advanced imaging
applications:


  • MR Angiography (MRA) - cardiac and advanced
    cardiac/CVMR, peripheral vascular/PVMR, and or neurovascular - EPI
    applications: DWI, PWI, DTI , ASL
  • MR Spectroscopy (MRS) - Brain, or Breast, or Prostate
  • MR Enterography, MR Defecography and MR Prostate with
    endo-rectal coil
  • Interventional MR - MR Guided fine needle breast and or
    prostate biopsies
  • Functional MR (fMRI) - Brain
  • Therapeutic MR (HiFu) - Fibroid
    tumors

You will be expected to support all imaging
centers staffed by our organization.

*Should you not meet the experience
standards required for a senior position, you may be considered for a Staff MRI
Technologist position.*

Staff
Technologist: $49.73 - $65.56 per hour

Senior
Technologist: $52.18 - $68.16 per hour

Salary Range: $49.73 - $68.86 Hourly

Qualifications

Please
ensure your resume includes a list of all relevant certifications and licenses.

  • 3 years MRI
    Experience - required
    • Licenses
      • A
        combination of the ARRT and CRT - required. MR certificate required

OR

      • A combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT
        (MR) - required
  • Venipuncture
    certificate - required
  • BCLS
    from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
  • Graduate
    from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required
  • AA or BS - preferred
  • Siemens
    experience - preferred
  • Demonstrates competence in modifying
    protocols as required producing optimal diagnostic images.
  • Demonstrates ability to train
    additional MR staff in addition to performing the advanced procedures without
    direction themselves
  • You
    will be required to rotate to all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health
