We have an opening for an Associate Director, Digital Marketing.

The Associate Director, Digital Marketing leads the firm's digital marketing strategy across platforms including the website, CRM, email marketing systems, and social media. This role manages the Digital Marketing and CRM teams and collaborates cross-functionally to ensure digital initiatives support the firm's strategic growth and business development goals.

In this capacity, the Associate Director, Digital Marketing will:

  • Oversee the firm's marketing technology stack including websites, CRM, EMS, direct marketing technology and social media;
  • Collaborate with Business Development and IT to advance the digital marketing roadmap, guiding the development, launch, and continuous enhancement of digital features;
  • Lead and develop a high-performing digital marketing team, overseeing hiring, training, and career development;
  • Foster collaboration across editorial, design, and business development teams to ensure consistent, high-quality digital content;
  • Oversee the firm's CRM system, including the rollout and ongoing adoption of new tools and processes;
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure CRM data supports business development and marketing objectives;
  • Manage the digital marketing budget, evaluating spend for efficiency and impact;
  • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies to align strategy and maximize results; and
  • Stay informed of emerging digital trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and experimentation.

Proficiencies:

  • Experience with Sitecore and Intapp (preferred);
  • Knowledge of technologies, developments, trends and literature related to legal and professional services marketing fields;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, document management, and CRM systems;
  • Experience building or delivering against technical product roadmaps;
  • Proficient with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tools;
  • Proficient with Web Analytics tools, Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics preferred;
  • Customer-focused, analytical and process-oriented; comfortable making data-driven decisions, with thirst for continuous improvement;
  • Expert proficiency in oral and written communications with strong editing, proofreading, grammar and research skills, along with the ability to turn data into useful deliverables;
  • Solid understanding of the needs and expectations of law firm operations and corporate legal clients in order to function at a strategic level;
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing principles, procedures, concepts and practical applications;
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking and relationship management;
  • Proficiency in team building, management, and leadership skills; and
  • Knowledge of the needs and expectations of law firm operations, partners, and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (required);
  • At least 12+ years of marketing professional experience; and
  • At least 5 years of management experience in a corporate law firm setting or relevant industry setting is a plus.

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $180,000 and a maximum of $260,000 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
