Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Job Summary:

We are looking for a customer-focused Rental Specialist to assist customers with equipment rentals in a fast-paced environment. This role involves handling reservations, coordinating deliveries and pickups, and ensuring a smooth rental process. Strong communication, organizational skills, and basic knowledge of construction or landscaping tools are preferred. A valid driver's license and flexible schedule are required.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide superior customer service to walk-in and call-in customers, identifying rental needs and assisting with tool selection.
Coordinate and schedule equipment rentals, including pickups, deliveries, and transfers.
Ensure all customer interactions are efficient, timely, and professional.
Maintain neat and organized work areas at the counter and showroom.
Focus on growing rental sales while ensuring maximum rental rates are met.
Follow and adhere to company policies, procedures, and processes.
Manage rental equipment check-ins according to the company's rental process.
Handle customer inquiries at the counter and over the phone, ensuring timely service.
Assist in inventory management, balancing and coordinating transfers, and correcting discrepancies.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including addressing service calls and managing complaints.

Qualifications:

Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas: Construction, Water Sewer and Storm Products, Concrete Accessories, Masonry Supplies, Laser/Surveying Equipment, Hardscapes/Landscaping, and Equipment Sales/Rentals.
High School diploma or GED (or equivalent) preferred.
Valid Driver's License required.
Previous sales experience preferred.
