Our Team

We keep customers and the public safe by supervising the field personnel who work in natural gas operations.

What You'll Do
  • Protect the safety of the public, company property, and personnel through monitoring and enforcement of work methods, construction standards, and procedures for emergency response, leak investigation, and other gas maintenance, construction, and service activities
  • Lead, supervise and motivate a culturally diverse workforce of roughly 20 field technicians through coaching, counseling, and team building
  • Initiate and institute corrective actions and process improvements
  • Utilize labor relations skills in order to administer and interpret contract language and resolve discipline cases and grievances
  • Take and pass all Operator Qualifications for Gas Field Operations similar to the field force that they would be supervising
  • Support achievement of goals including operational targets, mandated objectives, budget goals, emergency response, field collections, meter reading/AMR, investigations and safety
  • Support continual development of union workforce by conducting Safety Assessments (SUSA's), coaching, performance assessment and appraisal
About You
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant gas operations experience required
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite required
  • Knowledge of MAXIMO, LMS, SAP preferred
  • Technical knowledge of gas systems and practices preferred
  • Knowledge of federal, state gas regulations including OSHA, DOT, and Pipeline Operator Qualifications preferred
  • Strong safety practices and record preferred
  • Experience managing a union workforce preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and emergencies with a calm demeanor
  • Valid driver's license required

Salary

$114,000 - $134,000 a year

Please be advised that due to the nature of this position, incumbents are subject to federal Drug & Alcohol safety regulations governing US Department of Transportation ("DOT") covered positions, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA). As such, the Company's testing programs and policies regarding the use of federally prohibited drugs or alcohol, for recreational or medical purposes, will remain in effect for these safety-sensitive, DOT covered positions.

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
