Compensation Grade: P20Compensation Details: Minimum: $73,627.00 - Maximum: $73,627.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OHEHR) AI - AIDS InstituteJob Description: Responsibilities Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Health Program Education Coordinator to work as part of a team within the Office of the Medical Director to implement statewide education and training initiatives designed to prepare AIDS Institute programs and partners to mount an effective response to the syndemics of HIV, hepatitis C, sexually transmitted infections, and substance use disorder. The incumbent will support activities for three core initiatives: Consumer Education and Health Promotion Messaging; NYS Peer Certification Program; and program coordination and contract management activities related to AIDS Institute-funded training centers. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience contributing towards conducting training programs in health education, public health, health care, or a related field; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of digital tools and social media, HIV, sexual health, substance use and harm reduction. Experience coordinating team projects, planning and facilitating meetings. Experience using distance learning platforms. Contract management experience. Experience preparing materials for social media, print and other messaging for audiences with varying literacy levels. Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Travel, up to 25% of the time, may be required. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
