Compensation Grade: P23Compensation Details: Minimum: $86,019.00 - Maximum: $86,019.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OHEHR) AI - AIDS InstituteJob Description: Responsibilities Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Health Program Education Coordinator I to work as part of a team within the Office of the Medical Director to implement statewide education and training initiatives designed to prepare AIDS Institute programs and partners to mount an effective response to the syndemics of HIV, hepatitis C, sexually transmitted infections, and substance use disorder. The incumbent will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a range of training activities designed to prepare a workforce of knowledgeable, skilled professionals, including peer workers, to advance strategic priorities to end epidemics, fight stigma, and promote health. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of experience conducting training programs in health education, public health, health care or a related field; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and five years of such experience; OR seven years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of such experience. Preferred Qualifications At least two years of experience conducting, developing, or monitoring trainings and/or educational programs; Experience designing and delivering distance learning activities using virtual platforms or asynchronous programs. Experience designing and delivering technical assistance plans for community-based organizations, health clinics or programs to implement practice change. Experience working with varied populations impacted by HIV, sexually transmitted infections, viral hepatitis or substance use disorder. Experience working with harm reduction programs. Strong writing curriculum development skills. At least one year of contract management experience. Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Travel, up to 25% of the time, may be required. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
