Accountant IIl - District Attorney Hourly Pay Range: $28.21 - $42.30 Closing Date: May 19, 2025. Or upon receipt of the first 50 application submissions received. Job Summary: The Accountant IIl will work under the supervision of the Financial Manager, assist in the fiscal administration of the district attorney's federal and state grant programs, and perform various accounting, payroll, and purchasing functions. Please Note: Subject to manager approval and the needs of the department, this posiion is eligible to telework at 40% after probation is completed. Required Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures; knowledge of office practices and procedures; skilled in performing mathematical computations; analytical and organizational skills; the ability and knowledge with use of personal computers; data processing skills and creating spread sheets; skilled in planning, preparing and performing accounting tasks; oral and written communication skills; ability to accurately compile and maintain a wide variety of tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision; ability to work effectively and harmoniously with others. The ability to lift/carry up to 10lbs and push/pull up to 20lbs NOTE: This position is unclassified and not subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations.
