Position Summary The Commercial Loan Core Verification Specialist is responsible for the review of loan documents and file maintenance input into the Core, and all corresponding loan systems with special attention to logic, legality in review of documents. Duties & Responsibilities Audit new loans, renewals and modications for data interity input into the bank's core system and corresponding loan systems; verify all required data fields. Review loan documents for inconsistencies. Keep current on new products and loan policy changes. Knowledge of ongoing regulation changes and loan programs. Review system maintenance. Create policies and procedures for input process. Education & Experience Knowledge of: Good oral and written communication skills Corporate policies and procedures: CIP, Red Flag, FCRA, Reg Z, RESPA, USA PATRIOT ACT, etc. Legal documents Ability: Ability to: Multi-task and work independently Perform duties under frequent time pressures Solve problems independently while applying logic and discretion Education and Training: Requires High School diploma; higher education preferred Experience with lending preferred Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office Compensation and Benefits Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.
