Slitter Operator

Mativ is a global leader in specialty materials headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia. The Company offers a wide range of critical components and engineered solutions that connect, protect, and purify our world.

We currently have an opening for Slitter Operator located at our Woodville, WI location. This position will work day shift, Monday - Thursday 6am - 3pm and Friday 6am-12pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setting up the press machine based on the requirments of the work order
• Running the press machine
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Regular, punctual attendance
• Mechanical background preferred
• Basic computer skills - must be able to use computer for data collection
• Basic mathematical skills
• Read and comprehend English
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, squat, twist, reach, push, pull and reach above shoulder length
• All candidates must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
