GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with planning and managing accounting initiatives and strategies for corporate.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the planning and analysis of BU corporate ledgers to ensure consistency and comparability of SG&A reporting and controlling.
- Support BU finance teams on variance analysis related to Corporate ledgers.
- Work with other corporate departments to ensure consistency and comparability of SG&A reporting and controlling.
- Responsible for planning and analysis of corporate account journal entries.
- Responsible for planning and analysis of Corporate cash and debt.
- Responsible for planning and analysis of Corporate fixed assets.
- Responsible for planning and analysis of Corporate intercompany activity.
- Responsible for planning and analysis of Corporate accruals.
- Responsible for Leading Ledger restructuring projects
- Responsible for connecting the dots between various ledgers to drive simplification
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 8-10 years of Accounting or Finance experience required including Month End Close experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
- SAP and Onestream knowledge is preferred
- Experience in general ledger accounting including chart of accounts management, balance sheet analysis and reconciliation
- Solid understanding of balance sheet accounting
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to create and maintain productive work relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in the English language
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills
- Financial expertise and skills to effectively deliver the responsibilities outlined above including knowledge and familiarization with financial systems and other appropriate software.
- Project Management skills required
- Team-oriented and able to perform tasks where time management is key
- Significant capability, drive and initiative to create and manage own work agenda.
- Must have good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability and desire to progress to greater levels of financial management responsibility.
- Solid expertise of ledger restructuring in a complex environment
- Exceptional understanding of inter -dependencies of various nuanced aspects of ledger.
