Step into a leadership role at one of the most iconic botanical gardens in the country-Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA-as the Executive Catering Chef with Restaurant Associates. This is your chance to showcase your culinary artistry in a setting that inspires creativity and excellence every day. Key Responsibilities: Partner with the Culinary Director to manage food cost controls, optimize kitchen operations, and ensure financial efficiency. Collaborate on crafting and performing outstanding, seasonal menus that reflect both creativity and guest preferences. Led the production and implementation of high-profile catering events, ensuring every detail is completed with precision and elegance. Roll out new culinary initiatives in partnership with our marketing and culinary innovation teams. Supervise, prepare, and cook a variety of dishes, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. Develop and refine daily offerings, including preparation techniques and garnishing, to delight every guest. Preferred Qualifications: A.O.S. or equivalent experience in Culinary Arts or culinary certificate with proven experience Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending on formal training Catering experience is required. High volume, complex food service operations experience is highly desirable Institutional and batch cooking experience is helpful Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and the Internet Willingness to participate in patient satisfaction programs/activities ServSafe certification is highly desirable Apply to Restaurant Associates today!
