A diverse skill-set is needed for execution of the scope of multiple tasks ranging from detailed design to construction support to system testing to sustainment. Engineers use a design-build-sustain approach and work in a team environment to interface with designers, component and system engineers, operations, planning and testing organizations within the shipyard and with our Navy customer.

Responsibilities include diagram development, fluid system analysis, fluid system design calculations, design disclosure development, system test plan development, system operating and maintenance procedure development.

This role requires teaming skills, analysis, calculations, technical writing, presentations, adaptability, and agile learning.



Qualifications

Required:

    Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Mechanical, Marine, Aeronautical, Civil, Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • Less than 4 years of engineering experience


Skills

  • Strong oral and written skills to communicate directly with our stakeholders and Navy Customers
  • Ability to develop and deliver technical presentations
