The Entra ID Backup Authentication System team builds services and technologies to ensure that the identity stack is always up and running, and users can always log in. We drive towards 99.99% availability and beyond by building redundancies and backup systems at all layers of the Entra ID stack. Our team regularly works on building resilience for industry-leading authentication protocols across different organizations, both inside and outside of Microsoft. This role is ideal for those who enjoy collaborating with diverse, cross-organization teams, tackling complex and ambiguous technical challenges, and working on both backend infrastructure and authentication protocols. ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement changes across multiple products to increase authentication resilience, including in ambiguous situations.Proactively identify, prioritize, and address issues in livesite, championing security and quality in all aspects of our product.Serve as a technical expert in software design and implementation, setting the standard for other engineers to follow.Author clear and concise documents to drive product strategy, prioritization, & implementation decisions.Embody our culture and values. | |
