Scrum Master

Tyler Technologies is looking for a Scrum Master at 5101 Tennyson Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024 to perform the following job duties:

Ensure Agile/Scrum/SAFe processes are implemented effectively; practicing continuous improvement. Bring clarity, cohesiveness, transparency, organization, and accountability to all development projects. Improve and facilitate all project and software development processes to create agreement and alignment with departmental objectives of productivity, timeliness, and quality. Provide coaching of team members, Product Owners, Product Development Team and other Scrum Masters. Assist teams in making commitments through story creation, task definition, and sizing. Facilitate sprint demos, planning, and retrospectives. Identify and remove impediments that interfere with the team's delivery of sprint goals. Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress. Conduct retrospectives to continuously improve project results. Create and maintain process documentation. Ensure teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability, and visibility. Ensure the team strives to make each increment of functionality potentially shippable. Must be willing to work at least 2 days a week in the office (Plano, TX). May work remotely up to 3 days a week in the same MSA as the worksite. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent and 8 years of experience in Associate-Projects, Senior Consultant, Project Manager, Scrum Master or similar occupation. This position requires 8 years in project management with 4 years of managing AGILE projects. Must include some experience with each of the following: structures SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile); JIRA and Confluence; web-based SaaS applications and online industry.
