Overview

This position is part of a team that supports the USINDOPACOM Alpha contract. As a Strategic Execution Integrator within the INDOPACOM J44 Engineering Division, you will play a critical role in supporting the J443 Strategic Execution Branch. You will leverage your expertise in engineering design, construction project management, and contracting to integrate and synchronize project execution across the Indo-Pacific theater. This position requires a deep understanding of project scheduling, cost control, and contract management, as well as the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.



Responsibilities

    Conduct assessments of project complexity, feasibility, and timelines to support effective project planning and execution.
  • Perform technical analyses of project sequencing, bundling, schedules, and timelines, identifying critical path items and strategies to expedite project completion.
  • Develop acquisition strategies to reduce project timelines, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinate across J44 Branches, J-Directorates, Design and Construction Agents (DCAs), Components, Joint Staff, OSD, Joint Region Marianas (JRM), Joint Task Force Micronesia (JTF-Micronesia), Liaison Officers (LNOs), DLA, TRANSCOM, Army Missile Defense, MDA, and other key stakeholders to ensure informed, coordinated, and synchronized project execution.
  • Develop and deliver execution briefings tailored to various audience levels, from tactical to strategic leadership.
  • Provide support to, and serve as a back-up for, the Strategic Execution Branch Chief, Posture Management, and J44 Engineering Division leadership.
  • Support the J441 (Ops, Plans, and Exercises), J446 (Development & Controls), and Knowledge Management branches as needed.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of four years of experience and a Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience as a contracting officer's representative (COR) or similar role, with a strong understanding of design-build (DB) and design-bid-build (DBB) contracts, firm fixed price (FFP), and cost-plus (CP) contracts.
  • Experience with a DoD Design and Construction Agent (DCA) or equivalent.
  • Expertise in construction project scheduling, cost control, cost estimating, quality assurance, and project budget management.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and present execution briefings for various audiences.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple organizations and stakeholders, ensuring effective project synchronization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with military engineering operations and theater-level project execution.

Work Location: Work is performed in Honolulu, HI

Clearance: Active TS/SCI security clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum, be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:

Salary Range: The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $85,000.00 to $132,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
