This position is part of a team that supports the USINDOPACOM Alpha contract. As a Joint Engineer Operations Planner, you will serve as a critical member of the INDOPACOM J44 Engineering Division, supporting the assessment and planning of combat readiness, force laydown, and joint engineer capabilities across the Indo-Pacific theater. You will leverage your experience in joint operations to develop engineer support plans and annexes, provide technical analysis for contingency, crisis action, and current operations planning, and support the development of Joint engineer support concepts for theater-wide force posture.



Responsibilities

    Provide analytical engineer assessments and recommendations for operational planning teams, crisis action teams, and current operations activities.
  • Conduct analysis of force laydown concepts to identify facility and engineering requirements needed to meet Joint operations effects.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations to J44 senior leaders for the employment and conduct of engineer activities throughout the Indo-Pacific theater.
  • Develop Joint engineer support plans that are integrated with the INDOPACOM family of plans (OPLANs, CONPLANs, Theater Campaign Plan, Logistics Support Plan).
  • Develop processes and business rules to track and assess engineer operations and activities throughout the Indo-Pacific theater.
  • Support the drafting, coordination, and approval of plans and orders for subordinate commanders, external agencies, and INDOPACOM staff.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience supporting and planning military operations.
  • 3+ years of experience working in the INDOPACOM AOR.
  • Experience supporting Joint military operations, including force laydown and engineering support.
  • Knowledge of service component relationships with higher-level commands and subordinate task forces.
  • Ability to conceptualize, develop, and staff courses of action to orchestrate the employment of Joint Engineer capabilities throughout the AOR.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting military engineer operations.
  • Experience with joint planning to support Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) initiatives.
  • Experience with drafting Joint Orders, tasking orders, and operations orders.
  • Experience as an Action Officer.
  • Ability to qualify for JPME-I.
  • Master's degree.

Work Location: Work is performed in Honolulu, HI

Clearance: Active TS/SCI security clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Salary Range: The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $85,000.00 to $140,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
