Day & Zimmermann is currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager / Manager of Projects to support our Projects team at our Nuclear contract in Hancocks Bridge, NJ. This will be an on-site role eligible for per diem.

As the Manager of Projects here's the work you'll do:

* Lead project management in all aspects of projects, from scheduling, planning and procurement and responsible for all aspects of project implementation

* Serve as point of customer contact and ensure communication on project status to all stakeholders, both internal and external. Drive effective project and contract management governance, procedures, tools and financial controls are established and maintained.

* Champion the organization's commitment to safety and demonstrate a strong personal commitment to safety and D&Z values by providing leadership and establishing expectations and accountability related to the execution of effective customer and DZ safety program.

* Responsible for tactical reviews of the site work plans to ensure adequate organizational resources are prioritized and deployed to support the contract requirements.

* Effectively partner with functional areas via the appropriate Project Management Office to achieve shared goals, resolve conflicts and promote best practices and process improvement.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

* Experience with cost management/project controls with a comprehensive understanding of fixed-price and T&M contracts.

* Ability to understand and work with key financial measurements to analyze the business

* Able to develop actions to correct financial performance and develop new business

And if you have these qualifications:

* Ten (10+) years Successful project management and EPC experience.

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related construction field experience preferred

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $96,000 - $171,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
