Aftermarket Strategy Specialist - Engines

Ziegler CAT is seeking an Aftermarket Strategy Specialist - Engines to provide exceptional after sales account management and service support for our established customers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Ziegler sales team and Caterpillar to ensure seamless aftermarket solutions for OEM clients. As the primary after sale customer support representative within our OEM group, you will act as the critical link between sales, engineering, and customers, driving success and satisfaction in every interaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish customer relationships through a variety of proactive activities, including account management, development and implementation of post-sale solutions to support key OEM accounts
  • Create and execute the post-sale engine support strategy for Ziegler's OEM customers - ie. parts, post-sale product support programs, post-sale aftermarket needs
  • Support the OEM engine business by facilitating sales of ancillary Ziegler products and services to OEM customers, including Hydraulic Hose, Trimble, OEM Solutions parts or labor
  • Lead "service concierge" activities required to support OEM customers and end users, coordinating across functions, customer teams, as well as partners and dealers. This includes supporting OEM dealers and their customers as they navigate product issues and/or downtime in and out of territory
  • Support new product development processes as the conduit for technical team interface with customers, sales, and engineering
  • Engage with CSR sales organization to enable additional repower opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or in a mechanical/technical curriculum
  • 8+ years of experience dealing with engine products, equipment, parts and service strongly preferred
  • 3 years sales experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective and professional relationships through strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship-building and consistent demonstration of solid professional judgment
  • Professional demeanor with both internal and external contacts including friendly, courteous treatment of peers, and people at all levels inside and outside the organization
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities, detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and the ability to learn Dynamics D365
  • Team player with the ability to manage change and conflict
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record

Travel:

  • Up to 25% travel

Minimum Physical Requirements:

  • Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing.
  • Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be moderate at times.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 to $32.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant's location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
