Role: Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Profile

We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join DaVita's Indirect Procurement team. This role will support People Services (Human Resources) and Corporate Travel at DaVita. Sourcing activities, data analytics, reporting, and vendor relationship management are key components of this role. This position works to create bandwidth for sourcing managers on strategic assignments that require considerable discretion and judgement. This project-based role requires market research skills, commercial negotiation and contracting skills, and experience with corporate travel programs. This analyst will offer data driven insights and collaborate with internal teams to mitigate risk, procure goods and services, and develop category strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with internal business partners to facilitate RFx events.
• The Analyst will interface with e-Sourcing tools to aid in supplier enablement and invoicing.
• Navigate contract lifecycle management tools and export contracts and interpret basic contract terms.
• Extract key insights and create business action plans; Ensure accuracy and integrity of data.
• Support Concur Travel program and support and sourcing/purchasing project with a high level of discretion and independence.
• Maintain and organize SOPs and project documents.
• Partner with Category Managers to gather data, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and support contract negotiations.
• Assist Category Managers and business partners in evaluating supplier performance as applicable.
• Research relevant market trends, suppliers, and technologies; makes recommendations to internal customers based on research analysis.
• Correspond with suppliers during RFx events to gather supplier data and supplier proposals; partner with category manager to facilitate internal evaluation process.
• Oversee Concur system updates and patches, ensuring timely application and compatibility with existing configurations and existing DaVita policies.
• Assist with management of the Executive Travel Program.

Skills

• Expert in data analytics and reporting. Proficiency in Alteryx and Tableau preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and agility to support different sourcing lanes and cross functional project work.
• Advanced in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with Coupa and other e-Sourcing platforms preferred.
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint with experience presenting to leadership teams.
• Experience with a Corporate Travel management program preferred.
• Capable of interpreting basic contract terms (i.e. pricing, term, termination, invoicing, etc.)

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, business degree in strategy, finance, supply chain operations or consulting projects preferred.
• Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of business experience, procurement experience preferred.
• Experience facilitating and/or supporting Requests for Proposals, Request for Quotes and Invitations to Bid.
• Must have a general working knowledge of Indirect procurement categories and corporate travel.
