We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Medical Records/Claims Indexing Specialist with experience in healthcare administration. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and process incoming mail, ensuring that all correspondence is accurately scanned, uploaded, and imported into the EPIC system for our collectors to work on.
Key Responsibilities: * Sort through incoming mail daily. * Scan and upload mail correspondence to the EPIC system. * Review and process mail in the Wells Fargo folder. * Ensure all correspondence is accurately uploaded for collectors to work on. * Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information. * Perform other administrative tasks as needed. Top Skills: * Attention to detail and analytical skills. * Willingness to learn and adapt. * Ability to communicate and interact appropriately with patients, families, and staff, respecting age, disability, and cultural preferences. * Proficiency in expressing or exchanging ideas/information both written and verbally. * Excellent customer service skills for both external and internal customers. * High degree of personal organization, ability to meet deadlines, and balance multiple work projects. * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to operate efficiently in a high-paced environment. * Ability to support collaborative efforts and quickly grasp new concepts and procedures. Secondary Skills (Nice to Have): * Familiarity with the EPIC system. * Previous administrative experience. * Proficiency in using scanning equipment and software. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Excellent communication skills.
