Position Overview

The Client Development Coordinator supports the firm's business development efforts by coordinating and providing administrative support across client engagement, event planning, CRM management, and market research activities. This role is critical in enhancing client experience and collaborating with internal teams to drive strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities



  • Support client development initiatives through research, coordination, and event planning.
  • Assist the client experience team with event logistics, lead tracking, meeting agendas, and travel arrangements.
  • Track and coordinate participation in professional organization events.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics, and Deltek VantagePoint.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to track and organize conferences.
  • Conduct market strategy and client research to inform business development efforts.
  • Research municipal budgets to support pursuit strategies.
  • Plan and coordinate client events, including happy hours, dinners, and ticket exchanges.
  • Enhance client experience through timely support and engagement initiatives.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.


Skills + Experience



  • Previous experience in an administrative, business development or event planning role(s)
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to interact with employees and external clients
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer software programs - Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Being flexible and adjusting to situations as they occur
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible and to grow professionally through development and training activities
  • Understanding of the AEC industry a plus
  • Experience in maintaining a CRM system a plus

  • Work will primarily be in an office setting with limited opportunities to be exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
  • Work will be primarily working with fingers by picking, pinching, typing, and grasping often with repetitive motion.
  • Must have visual acuity for viewing a computer screen, the ability to talk, hear and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 5 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Occasional night and/or weekend hours as well as overtime hours may be required.
  • Additional physical duties may be required as necessary.
