KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director in our Infrastructure, Capital Projects & Climate Practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams in the identification of critical factors causing operational and financial under-performance, as well as develop and implement plans to provide decision support guides for Energy, Power & Utilities, and other sectors
  • Assist State and Local government agencies with addressing issues that arise from the public sector procurement process
  • Direct and participate in business development efforts including curating a strong professional network, identifying opportunities, maintaining a strong market presence, proposing KPMG services, negotiating terms and closing engagements
  • Oversee the quality of client engagements and the development of staff
  • Lead and participate in practice building including, but not limited to recruitment and training, thought leadership, management and mentorship of staff and/or solution development
Qualifications:
  • Minimum twelve years of recent deep advisory/consulting experience with Power & Utilities sector and international infrastructure projects
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university/college
  • Demonstrated business development skills in public sector and/or corporate construction oversight opportunities, government or corporate capital projects including fostering a strong professional network, scoping opportunities , leading pursuits and negotiating terms
  • Excellent consulting skills: analytical, written and verbal communication, client presence, facilitation and presentation skills and extensive experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating and managing staff, clients and/or partners towards the successful completion of a project
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed

The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
