Our client is one of the largest Telecommunication Vendors in DMV and has a large presence across the East Coast. They provide full turnkey solutions for both wireless and wireline sectors. Their wireless sectors are split up into a few groups, but ultimately support the major carriers. We are looking for either an experienced or junior level equipment mechanic to service their telecommunications equipment. This equipment could be for the aerial or underground construction team and can include Excavators, Dump Trucks, Small Cell Gear, etc. Almost all of the equipment is diesel so someone with a diesel background would be great but overall mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn is necessary. They will be working hand in hand with the Foreman of the equipment yard. These mechanics will receive great exposure to not only the telecommunications industry, but cutting edge 5G technology. *Top Skills' Details (perfect candidate)* 1. 1+ years of experience performing OSP Telecommunications construction maintenance on construction equipment (small engines/diesel/small tools). 2. Experience with small tool repair, engine diagnosis, repair, hydraulics, electrical systems, welding, metal fabrication (trailer repair/hookup will suffice at a minimum). 3. Reliability, strong work ethic, teamwork, willingness to grow and learn (fast-pace environment). *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
