*Description*
Our client is looking for an Applications Support Analyst on a 6-month+ contract. Candidate will be responsible for application support and administration for applications used by the school and research end-users. Candidates will need to triage issues, escalate to application owners, work with different lines of business to ensure that the applications were being supported properly, provide support for business owners, perform upgrades and apply patches for applications, etc. Candidate will engage and work extensively with the product vendors to resolve issues. The candidate will also be responsible for some data management such as developing automated and ad-hoc reporting, exporting data into Excel, creating reports or dashboards. Key Responsibilities * System Maintenance & Security - Experience with Linux and Windows server administration with the ability to manage and apply patching following details provided by CyberSecurity. - Manage and update SSL certificates across platforms. * Account & Access Management - Create, manage, and delete alumni and student Google accounts. - Perform account termination in Google Workspace for students graduating, deferring, or withdrawing. - Support onboarding of new users in various academic applications. - Experience with Active Directory and Single Sign-On (SSO) troubleshooting and configuration. * Data & Storage Administration - Collaborate with Central IT to migrate user data from Google Workspace to OneDrive. - Maintain and monitor Google Storage environments. * Support & Service Coordination - Host weekly open Zoom rooms for drop-in technology support. - Handle service requests and incidents using the ServiceNow ticketing system. * Platform & Project Support - Manage Google Sites, including site creation, content updates, and publishing. - Assist with projects requiring PowerApps knowledge. - Maintain technical documentation on internal platforms. * Development & Integration - Utilize working knowledge of API integration with institutional systems. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Educational Technology, or a related field. * Proficiency in Google Workspace administration, Windows patching, SSL Certificate Updates, and Google Sites. * Experience with ServiceNow. * Working knowledge of Active Directory and SSO. * Familiarity with API development and integration. * Strong customer service and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in higher education or a complex academic environment. * Familiarity with Microsoft PowerApps. * Knowledge of Microsoft OneDrive migrations and Google-to-Microsoft ecosystem transitions. *Skills* Application support, Troubleshooting, Windows, Excel, active directory administration, Sql, Office 365, systems administration, google suite *Top Skills Details* Application support,Troubleshooting,Windows,Excel,active directory administration *Additional Skills & Qualifications* They are looking for an overall IT generalist who with experience in triage of issues, systems adminstration, applications support, data analysis, etc. Candidates must have strong customer service skills, be able to pick up new things quickly and not require a lot of hand-holding. Candidates who are self motivated and want to learn. *Experience Level* Entry Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
