*Description*
The Loan Processor Assistant plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of activities related to the company's Regional Operations functions. This role is primarily responsible for, under direct supervision, for assisting the Loan Processors by reviewing files, ordering supporting documents, and other tasks to help the processors prepare mortgage loans for underwriting and closing within Guild Mortgage Company and industry guidelines. No travel required. Ordering out files for LOA team, verifications of employment, appraisal orders, attention to detail on cancellations because they are heavily audited, understanding compliance to pass audits, approving or denying loans, submittals to Washington state housing, ordering out files for LOA team. 4 month contract with potential to convert to permanent (aiming to transition this candidate to full time). *Skills* Administration, Office suite, loan operation, technical skills, mathematics, writing skills, decision-making, problem management, communication and analytical skills, customer service, interpersonal skills, file management, underwriting, data entry, invoicing, document management system *Top Skills Details* Administration,Office suite,loan operation,technical skills,mathematics,writing skills,decision-making,problem management,communication and analytical skills,customer service,interpersonal skills,file management,underwriting,data entry *Additional Skills & Qualifications* - High School or equivalent required. Some related college courses or degree desired (not required). Some knowledge of mortgage lending policies, procedures, and regulations. - 1-2 years of experience is preferred - No specific systems/tools experience needed - Time management - Motivated self-starter (low supervision) - Problem solver - Communication in a timely manner - Solving investor stipulations - Developed ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Resource management - Can have experience in mortgage in any state (doesn't have to be Washington) *Experience Level* Entry Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.46/hr.
