Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): Phoenix, Arizona or Raleigh, North Carolina.

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Change Management Lead to support a multi-year operating model transformation within the Commercial Bank. This individual contributor role is the most senior change management position on the Business Transformation team and will play a critical role in developing and executing enterprise-wide change strategies. This role will partner directly with executive leadership to ensure change is effectively communicated, understood, and adopted across impacted teams and stakeholder groups.

You will drive the development and implementation of our change management playbook, strategic communications, and business readiness frameworks. You will act as a trusted advisor and facilitator for senior executives, partnering across HR, Finance, Corporate Communications, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure successful planning and execution of changes to people, reporting lines, business capabilities, and integrated operating models.


Responsibilities

Strategic Change Management & Framework Development

  • Develop, maintain, and evolve the Commercial Bank's change management playbook, frameworks, tools, and templates.
  • Design and lead impact assessments, business readiness assessments, and change management plans across transformational initiatives.
  • Support the creation of business transition plans that include people, process, and capability shifts.

Executive Engagement & Strategic Communications

  • Lead strategic narrative development and executive engagement models to align transformation with enterprise-wide priorities.
  • Develop and deliver executive-ready presentations, updates, and briefings to senior leaders, the board, and regulators.
  • Partner with Corporate Communications and internal communications teams to design and coordinate enterprise-wide communications strategies.
  • Collaborate on crafting key messages for leadership communications, including people change announcements, business realignments, and capability shifts.

People & Capability Transition Implementation

  • Facilitate implementation of people changes, including new reporting lines, team structure changes, and business capability shifts.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and business partners to ensure end-to-end implementation of organizational design changes in systems and structures.
  • Guide executives on communication plans and rollout strategies for team transitions and sensitive people changes.

Enterprise Alignment & Regulatory Coordination

  • Ensure transformation messaging is consistent with enterprise brand, regulatory expectations, and board-level transparency requirements.
  • Partner with enterprise-wide change, risk, and communications teams to maintain alignment and integrity of messaging and change implementation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Business Strategy, Project Planning, and Financial Services industry OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Business Strategy, Project Planning, and Financial Services industry

Preferred Area of Experience:

  • Lean Six Sigma, Finance, Accounting
  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree (MBA, MSOD, or similar)
  • Prosci or similar change management certification a plus.
  • 12+ years of experience in change management, organizational effectiveness, or transformation strategy within large, matrixed organizations-ideally in financial services or banking.
  • Proven expertise in leading change for complex operating model transformations, including people and capability transitions.
  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence, coach, and engage C-suite leaders.
  • Demonstrated success in developing change frameworks, strategic communications, and enterprise-wide rollout strategies.
  • Strong understanding of HR, Finance, and regulatory functions and how they integrate with organizational change.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering high-impact executive presentations.
