Position Title: Forklift Operator Wage: $17.00-$18.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Forklift Operator position available at a company in Davenport, IA. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Unloads/Loads shipments, verifying merchandise matches shipping documents. - Moves merchandise to storage properly documenting locations and reporting any shipment discrepancies. - Picks orders and prepares for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is ready for shipment. - Keep accurate records of stock moves, receipts, and shipments with use of electronic tablets. - Operates forklift in a safe and efficient manner (Only after training and certification by the client). - General housekeeping duties including sweeping and picking up debris in the warehouse. Forklift Operator Requirements: - Must be able to sit for a majority of shift. - Must be able to grasp steering wheel and controls for entire shift. - Must be able to lift 50lbs occasionally throughout shift. - Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. - Must be able to stand for part of shift. - 3 years previous forklift experience required. - Previous exposure to warehouse environment preferred. - Accuracy and attention to detail required. davenport@qpsemployment.com IND065 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
