JOB SUMMARY Medication Access Technicians manage patient care by coordinating medication orders, processing prior authorizations, resolving third-party billing issues, facilitating patient assistance programs, and ensuring accurate documentation and communication with patients, providers, and pharmacists to support timely medication access and adherence. This role operates under the supervision of a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Coordinator, or Pharmacy Manager. BENEFITS
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required
High School diploma or equivalent
1 year experience as a retail pharmacy technician or equivalent
(TSBP) REG PHARMACY TECNICIAN Upon Hire and (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Upon Hire
Basic understanding of clinical terms and ability to complete a chart review Prior Authorization experience Knowledge of prescription insurance structure and plan types
PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) Upon Hire JOB DUTIES
