Job Description: Eastman's Chemicals and Acetate Manufacturing Division (CAMD) is accepting applications for theLimited-Service Employees (LSE)Operations role at our Kingsport, TN facility. Limited-Service Employees (LSEs) are part-time positions, without benefits, and are eligible to work up to 1300 hours in any 12-month period. A minimum number of working hours per week cannot be guaranteed. Working hours are obtained by filling available shifts which are volunteered for and assigned per the area overtime policy. A set schedule is not guaranteed. LSEs may be asked to work a rotating shift schedule. Work scheduling will be by assignment on a weekly basis to cover a regularly scheduled shift. Must be willing to work up to a 12-hour shift, including night shift. This is a temporary operations position. Education: High School Diploma or GED is required. Chemical Process Operations (CPO) certificate from NE State is preferred (not required). Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have valid driver's license. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Completion of the WorkKeys assessment is preferred (not required) Job Expectations: Must follow all safety procedures. Know and obey the Eastman Basic Safety Expectations, CAMD Safety Musts, and Area-specific Safety Musts. Must wear company-provided personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses with side shields, and hard hats at all times in designated areas. Dust mask, rubber gloves, face shields, and other protective equipment must be worn when required. Be familiar with basic computer functions such as creating, sending, and receiving e-mail and data entry. Have a strong work ethic, demonstrating both initiative and a professional attitude. Dependability in terms of reporting to work on time and when scheduled is a must. Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to apply mechanical fundamentals to properly operate and maintain the performance of the equipment within area of responsibility. Must be able to perform the essential elements of the positions with or without reasonable accommodations.
