Essential Job Duties
This position assists in the conduction of interdisciplinary research that supports sustainable
phosphorus management and the engagement of stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this
position can work both independently and within research teams. The candidate will lead
the development of a peer-reviewed publication on engagement practices.
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

  • Lead efforts to develop a peer-reviewed publication on engagement practices relevant for interdisciplinary teams
  • Assist in other research activities related to sustainable phosphorus management


Applicants will need access to a computer and internetconnection to complete tasks and activities related to the position.
Funding for this position is available from May 1, 2025 and ends September 30, 2025

  • 4 year degree; or an equivalent combination of training and/or related experience

  • Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently, take initiatives, actively communicate, and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with the current literature on engaging stakeholders in phosphorus sustainability
  • Must be familiar with the process of conducting scientific research, including the conduction of literature reviews, as well as the development of publications that report scientific findings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in stakeholder engagement in sustainability
