Essential Job Duties
The successful candidate should be willing to work in the Greenhouse, Laboratory, and the Farm (sometimes under high summer temperatures). In addition to greenhouse work, we need help in the laboratory to help graduate students with blueberry fruit quality analysis. Help clean up the laboratory and analyze data via bioinformatics pipelines. Being a biology or horticulture major and having previous experience is a plus.

  • One year of fruit quality analysis lab and greenhouse management experience
  • Familiarity with molecular biology and pipetting skills
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a routine basis
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's in Horticultural Science and one year of experience in blueberry and other small fruits laboratory experience
