Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager.

We have an exciting opening for a Project Manager position within the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Emergency Medicines Clinical Operations Division. In this role, the successful candidate will work under the direction of the Assistant Director for Clinical Operations and departmental leadership.
The Project Manager will be provide support and project management for all initiatives within the clinical mission spanning multiple sites including the Ronald O. Perelman Center for Emergency Services at NYU Langone- Tisch Hospital, the Emergency Department Observation unit, the NYU Langone Health- Brooklyn Emergency Department, The Home Depot Emergency Department at Cobble Hill, our Virtual Urgent Care Service and Samuels Orthopedic Immediate Care Center encompassing over 500,000 patient visits annually.

Job Responsibilities:

    1. Demonstrates knowledge of the organizations Core Values and incorporates them into the performance of duties.
    2. Partner with the Assistant Director for Clinical Operations to meet annual strategic and operational goals and ensure operational excellence.
    3. Ongoing tracking and preparation of metrics with reporting to various stakeholders on projects, financials, goals, performance reviews, and other data needs.
    4. Provide project management support for new and ongoing clinical initiatives including scheduling and leading meetings with key stakeholders and teams, drafting meeting agendas and minutes, creating process maps and protocols for review, ensuring completion of action items, developing a reporting infrastructure, and monitoring progress post implementation.
    5. Assist the scheduling team with the creation of the faculty schedule for adult, pediatric, observation.
    6. Assist with the credentialing and onboarding process for new providers as needed.
    7. Assist with adhoc analyses related to staffing, finances and other requests.
    8. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a 1. Bachelor degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration or related field.
2. Two years of experience coordinating Project/Programs or programs or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.
4. Effective verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
5. Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
6. Ability to multi task while paying attention to details.
7. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 - $99,750 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
