About the Role

As a Client Services Associate - Insurance, you'll play a key role in supporting producers and their clients by ensuring timely, accurate, and service-oriented execution across insurance operations. You'll act as the primary service link between clients, producers, and insurance carriers-delivering critical support through relationship management, data handling, and marketing coordination. This role requires technical knowledge of insurance products, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a service-first mindset.


What You'll Do

  • Manage daily client service requests and operational tasks.

  • Act as a key point of contact between clients, producers, and internal teams.

  • Run and interpret Vital Signs analyses to assess current ratings on insurance companies.

  • Coordinate with brokerage firms to assist with advanced marketing opportunities.

  • Create, print, and manage marketing materials for presentations and proposals.

  • Order and maintain accurate and up-to-date file documentation.

  • Develop a deep understanding of insurance product structures, features, and compliance requirements.

  • Evaluate client needs and determine product suitability based on risk analysis.

  • Maintain internal procedures, forms, cheat sheets, and vendor documentation.

  • Assist in the preparation and review of in-force and new business illustrations.

  • Analyze and compare product components to select the most suitable option.

  • Communicate directly with clients and provide proactive, professional service.

  • Collaborate closely with home office staff, including service, product, and wholesale teams.

  • Maintain knowledge of all company policies and complete assigned training in a timely manner.

  • Review the Associate Handbook and Company Policies annually.

  • Complete the Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest Questionnaire annually.

  • Embrace and demonstrate First Western's Core Values.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.



What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)

  • 1-3 years of experience in insurance services, including knowledge of multiple carriers, product strengths, and use of illustration and service systems (Required)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and carrier-specific systems

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Resourceful and proactive in resolving client issues and internal needs

  • Colorado Health & Life Insurance License, Series 6 (Preferred; must obtain within 1 year of hire)
