Job Summary:
The #1 Department of Curriculum and Instruction is seeking a friendly, outgoing, and computer savvy administrative specialist to support the department's finance, HR, and academic operations. Under the general direction of the Department Administrator you are responsible for providing administrative support to faculty, staff, and students through your expertise in UW purchasing, travel, and recruitment policies and processes. This is a fast paced office and you will be in the center of it all as you support the department's goals and objectives. Responsibilities: Responsible for a variety of professional level work across a variety of administrative service areas including budget, finance, procurement, and human resources with impact across the institution in support of unit or institutional goals.

Education: Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of three years work experience required. Prior work experience in accounting, bookkeeping, human resources, or similar field desired. Attention to detail and strong computer skills required. Working knowledge of MS Office products, Google Suite products, and ability to learn new software systems desired. Experience working in an office setting providing high level administrative support desired.
