Job Summary:
Has oversight for student experience across Kellogg's early career programs - CPU (undergrad certificate), MiM (Master in Management). Manages all aspects of the CPU and MiM, programs' student lifecycle from recruitment, admissions, student experience, academic advising through to graduation. Leads cross-functional resources and services fundamental to the student experience to include academic experience, student life, leadership and career planning. Partner with students, faculty and administrators to create, implement and lead programming designed to encourage students to proactively manage their academic, extracurricular and career experiences. Leads engagement efforts for 300 students, coordinating their co-curricular experience.

Specific Responsibilities:
Administration/Student Experience
- Acts as "face of the program" and primary contact with students, point person for resolving in academic or administrative issues that arise.
- Creates, implements and manages systems and processes to ensure continued quality and success of program operations.
- Lead program management and administration; build partnership with administrative and academic units across Northwestern in support of recruiting talented students from across NU
- Collaborate to plan, design and execute co-curricular programming to supplement courses and maximize students' Kellogg experience.
- Accountable for planning and implementing high visibility student events, such as annual certificate ceremony & graduation.
- Collaborates with students' 'home' NU undergrad schools and departments in matters of curriculum, policies and procedures, course scheduling, recruiting, and individual student issues for CPU students.
- Advises and monitors students to ensure academic progress towards the certificate / degree.
- Works closely with Academic Directors of all programs.
- Responsible for partnering with Athletic Department from pre-admissions throughout MiM Program.
- Responsible for interaction with facilities
- Responsible for on-the-ground faculty support
- Primary liaison to KIS on technical support needs
- Develops strategy and leads communications to students for optimal engagement, to increase program value, enrollments and student satisfaction.
- Develop and manage budget annually in a timely fashion to meet stated goals
- Partners and collaborates closely with E&W and FT Student Life teams to identify student experiences for appropriate integration.
- Serves as champion thought leader to own, develop and manage strategic initiatives within Kellogg to meet the student population needs.
- Partners with internal/external departments, faculty, alumni and employers to identify career pathways and create an outreach plan to engage organizations that will result in opportunities benefitting the student experience.
- Manage and leads Career coaches and MiM Asst. Director, Industry Relations
- Identifies opportunities and develops strategies for connecting students with alumni and industry experts who will provide academic and/or career resources such as mentoring, coaching, lectures, workshops etc.
- Builds and nurtures relationships with program alumni as a means to enhance current student experience, career placements and Kellogg engagement
Admissions/Recruitment
- Directs all aspects of recruitment and admissions for CPU, and partners on admissions marketing for MiM.
- Review and update application and process annually, responsible for making adjustments and measuring/reporting all outcomes
- Leads development and execution of the annual application review process to include application deadline, review process, and decision-making communications
- Coordinate with Faculty Directors on application review process and decisions
- Establishes strategy for prospect outreach, events and recruitment
- Accountable for information sessions and communications to prospects
- Provides advising as-needed to interested prospects
Communications
- Develops CPU marketing and promotional materials that project Kellogg's brand and attracts prospective students to the program.
- Leads and maintains CPU Web, external communications, and online presence. Serves as CPU marketing manager and webmaster. Ensures alignment with Kellogg Marketing & Communications and Northwestern University standards.
- Develops and manages all communications to MiM students from onboarding through graduation.
Technology/Data
- Manages evaluation processes; recommends & implements changes for enhancement; monitors effectiveness through follow-up evaluation studies.
- Collaborates with internal/external resources to develop meaningful outcome measurements and methods of program evaluation that will lead to enhancement.
- Maintains systems, partnering with external resources as warranted
- Supports registration of courses for students
Supervises
- Manage program coordinator and assistant director, industry relations, identifying individual's priorities, development goals and accountabilities
Miscellaneous
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired. Masters degree preferred
- 5-7 years of progressive administrative and program development experience or 5 years' of industry experience; or other relevant experience required
- Demonstrated passion for higher education and student services

Target hiring range for this position will be $100,000 - $115,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
