The Role - AV Integration Technician
Presidio is seeking an on-site AV Integration Technician who will be responsible for the installation of displays, projectors, audio systems, control systems, and teleconferencing systems. This position will be onsite in the Charlotte, NC (Whitehall Park) office. The travel will be regional and will require travel to client sites on a regular basis.

Travel Requirements: You will be expected to travel up to client sites on a daily basis including out-of-town/overnight travel weekly (up to 60% - 80% of the time). It will be based out of Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities Include:



  • Onsite installation to include: the guided installation of displays, projectors, audio systems, control systems, and teleconferencing systems.
  • Installation, testing, and termination of low voltage cabling to support Audio Visual implementations
  • Take instruction from Lead Technician and Project Managers to complete AV installation.
  • Complete basic rack wiring
  • Learn the basics of operating various collaboration platforms, continue education for AV certification {CTS} for growth within the company is desired.
  • Assist with inventory, staging, and testing of AV and network hardware in preparation for installation.
  • Communicate with other trades and handle basic customer communication onsite
  • Travel to various job sites required


Required Skills and Professional Experience:



  • Experience in Trades or other hands-on technical industries
  • Basic computer and MS suite skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School Diploma/GED or Bachelor's degree and/or military experience
  • 3 + experiences in the low voltage or AV industry
  • Must be able to work on a ladder, lift, push and/or pull 50 pounds or more, stand for long periods, and be able to bend, kneel and work with arms raised for prolonged periods.
