Job Description

We are seeking a forward-thinking Product Analyst to join our team. The position is responsible for developing DPS Debit products and services related to Authorization Processing, Back-office, Settlement, and Reporting.

This role will primarily support product development of payment processing network interfaces and all DPS supported unaffiliated networks. The ideal person for this role should have a passion for product development, technical savvy, and curiosity. They should also have an understanding of payment networks, experience managing products, problem solving, and willingness to roll-up their sleeves to get the job done.

Essential Functions

  • Participate in the full lifecycle of an authorization processing product enhancement including impact analysis, requirements gathering, technical requirements writing, technical designs reviews, prepare and be responsible for client documentations to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Engage with internal and external partner on the Network enhancement(s).
  • Work closely with developers on reviewing and refining requirements to ensure developers understand requirements and what success looks like for the payment network enhancement.
  • Support reporting of key activities, including proactive progress on requirements gathering and testing as well as issue management and resolution.
  • Understand the network processing market, clients, end-user needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Exhibit leadership skills and a vision for how to get things done better and faster.
  • Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to manage product development and project execution.
  • Maintain a client-centered approach in strategy development and day-to-day operations.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills, delivery, and sound decision-making ability.
  • Ability to analyze sophisticated technical issues and provide direction toward resolution.
  • Strong communication skills - listening, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to debate ideas with colleagues and partners in order to align on the best path forward.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change. Works successfully with a high level of independence.
  • Bachelor's degree in related subject area: Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
  • Knowledge of the payment industry and authorization processing.
  • Process improvement experience including gap analysis and solution implementation.
  • Change management certification and/or experience leading change.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 100,000.00 to 131,250.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
