The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our new Process Cooling sales team in the Eco Solutions division!

The Senior Business Development Manager is key to the success of the chiller and data center business in the United States.? The successful candidate will have strong sales, relationship building, leadership and communication skills at all levels of an organization.? Additionally, the successful Senior Business Development Manager will have a strong strategic understanding of the Data Center market and the ability to contribute to go-to market strategy.? The Senior Business Development Manager will be expected to provide actionable market intelligence and present regular performance analysis to sales management.



  • Conduct market analysis, customer segmentation, and competitive assessments to identify market trends, opportunities, and portfolio gaps.
  • Develop and execute the overall strategy for the product portfolio, encompassing both existing products and new offerings.
  • Identify and meet prospective clients, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships to sell LG chiller products.
  • Generates Data Center customer leads to develop new accounts and opportunities to hit sales targets.
  • Develop and deliver product solution presentations curated for data center clients.
  • Work with customers to review design standards; coordinate with the technical sales team and their representative to ensure timely and accurate design and proposal.
  • Engage with Data Center and Mission Critical trade organizations and regulatory groups.
  • Build and manage an opportunity pipeline; analyze pipeline, lead data, and deliver periodic reporting to the sales and marketing teams providing key business insights (typical reporting relates to demand generation, pipeline forecast and trends, conversion rates, target account and market segmentation). provide monthly forecasts for awards and revenue; and communicate regularly with the director of process cooling.
  • Through reporting and analytics, validate the quality of the lead and pipeline data and provide strategic guidance to the sales team to drive sales.


  • Develop proficiency in the CRM tool for relationship management, prospecting, project development, and sales performance monitoring.


qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business, MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of national sales experience selling to data centers and other mission critical facilities.
  • Professional sales, and large account management experience preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend basic process cooling equipment application, particularly chiller knowledge, is desired.
  • Ability to travel throughout the U.S.
  • Home office located within proximity to a major airport.
  • Willingness to pursue and attend additional training related to performance of job
  • Motivated and Initiative-taker, able to work independently from remote locations.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC technology, excellent sales skills, and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships


Recruiting Range:

This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed. This position provides an incentive bonus.

Recruiting Range
$150,000 - $165,000 USD
